<aside> π‘ ABOUT OPENPRINCIPLES
At OpenPrinciples, we want to bring open-source and evidence-oriented approach to the process of personal and organizational development with principles.
We are a community of like-minded people who like to share our own and build on each others' principles, and use those principles to make great decisions and make fewer repeated mistakes so we can help the world more effectively. Join our Discord or follow our Calendar Events.
This site, OpenPrinciples.org, is a community-maintained database of work and life principles organized around books, problems, facts, and curators. The concept was inspired by Ray Dalio's book "Principles" and Bridgewater's "Coach" system.
Our Theory of Change (see image below) has helped our Fellows to become 44% more principled through the OpenPrinciples Bootcamp.
Our community is also doing researches and building tools to help people live a βPrincipled Lifeβ. This including our Principles AI Assistant to help people digitize and automate the process of aligning their actions with their principles.

<aside> π₯ WHAT ARE PRINCIPLES? Principles are virtues, lessons, mental models, habits, and methods learned through action and reflection.
Deduced principles are hence applied towards making better decisions for oneself and the world.
Principles are diverse and can be as general as βBe kind to othersβ to as specific as βOnly eat two servings of lasagna at an Italian weddingβ.
